I like this and its hard to understand until you get the hang of it, but I do suggest it

I dont write reviews often, but this game is this f****ng good. I am a sucker for good 8-bit-ish/Indie games and this takes both feels and meshes them together perfectly. The gameplay is challenging as hell but it doesnt feel like a grind trying to go further and further down the well. As you play you can actively see yourself getting better at the game as you figure out better ways and strategies to overcome enemies and obstacles. The only complaint I have with the game is the way you control the character. One touch buttons for something like shooting isnt bad but the movement seemed to have the iPhone6+ in mind when creating it. The controls feel a little claustrophobic and im using a iPhone5s. I honestly feel that this game needs BlueTooth controller support just to fix every issue with the virtual controller, either that or just give us some way to adjust the controls to our liking. Other than the controls, as I already said this game is amazing and worth the $2.99 it asks for. I can sense the passion the creator put into this game as he was designing it, its just a customizable controls adjustment and maybe even a BlueTooth controller support addition away from me wanting to donate money to you to create more awesome games. 10/10 #BuyItNow

A nice little platformer based on getting to the bottom of a well. Pretty fun, and even stays open when your phone is in sleep mode across a few days!

This game is totally worth the cost! I normally do not play mobile games, but recently Ive been playing this game every time I can or I need to waste time. I love the art style and platform feeling, plus the music sounds amazing and authentic. I am very much impressed with the simplicity yet complexity that was put into this game. Although, the only real downside is that it could use a little bit more content but even then its still an amazing game that deserves 5 stars!!

Put a ton of hours into this. Really enjoyable, creative and fun. Wall jumping is more annoying than useful, and many of the power ups feel like they make things even worse or are pretty useless.

I would like to start of by saying, NO there is no story to this, this is an endless arcade shooter/platforming game so, YES of course you will love it if you like arcade games. The thing is, unlike most arcade games, there are millions of ways to play this game. No joke. The description and pictures dont serve it justice. I see a lot of people complaining about button placement, but you can simply go into options and set "Buttons" to "No". And besides, when an enemy nears the buttons, the button goes semi-transparent in that region in order to make way for the enemy. The only issue I had with this game was my own issue, the way you hold it. But ignore that! This game is great and it deserves 5 stars. I have written one review in my time and that was to get credits, but honest to god, this game is perfect and customizable down to the color of the screen. YES, tap that buy button, YES!

Instantly visceral and gratifying. No in-app freemium pay-to-win bile. Descend deeper and deeper against increasingly challenging denizens. Recommend it to casual and hardcore gamers alike.

This game has it all for a mobile gaming experience. Fun controls, easy to understand upgrades and items, and a great soundtrack to top it off. Wish Enter the Gungeon was mobile too though!

This game is amazing with the whole concept of falling down the well and fighting enemies and getting more weapons.

Really fresh idea, compelling mechanics, great graphics and sound, and very frustrating controls. An option for resizing direction buttons or moving them would help greatly. As it is, control is hit or miss. Makes the game needlessly difficult. Deleted with regret.

Its quick, its hard, its satisfying, pixels are beautiful, music is nostalgic, controls feel sexy - play it for a minute, play it for an hour, feel like the best gamer in the world and then the worst only a second later 10/10

And its even hard to beat, just like an old NES game

Excellent use of a simple and fun core gameplay mechanic & outstanding minimal pixel art style.

Amazing game. I played this first on the iPad, which is has better play control than the iPhone. I later starting playing on Steam, which is by far the best way to play. The simple graphics, classic sounds, and fluid gameplay all come together to make a brilliant vertical scrolling shooter. Way to go Ojiro Fumoto!

This is a fantastic game, and well worth the price. The controls are tight, the game always feels fresh, and the style is great. Random level generation means that every game is a different experience, so you can play it over and over without repetition. The progression is nice, though some more palates would be nice for a future update. Its definitely unforgiving, and a single mistap in hard mode can destroy a run. But all in all, its a must-buy for whatever platform you have.

After all the time Ive spent on this game, I feel like its earned its 5 stars. It is an incredibly addictive, arcade-style game with brilliant mechanics, and it is well worth the payment!

This game is amazing. Looks great, plays smooth, and all-around fun & addicting gameplay that will make you say "Just one more...." This game is perfection except for one pesky bug. Sometimes, when a person calls me, Facetimes me or exit the app and go back to it, the sound turns off. I check settings and it says its on. So, I keep switching in on and off, but sadly you need to close the game and open it back. I dont know what the problem is, Im playing on a 1-month old, brand new iPhone 6S, so I dont know whats happening. Please solve this imperfection for an otherwise stellar game! You guys are amazing :)

Besides being a clone of a droqen game (albeit with a different feel), this game triggers a game center notification that cant be turned off. Deleted. I wont buy or download anymore games by this developer.
